Franklin Sports was founded by brothers Irving and Sidney Franklin in Brockton, Massachusetts in 1946. They started off by manufacturing leather sporting equipment for young people. Now Franklin Sports Inc. is an international company that manufactures sporting equipment for Major League Baseball, the National Football League and the National Hockey League. The Franklin Batting Glove is the official batting glove of Major League Baseball. Franklin Sports products have been endorsed by star athletes from football player Joe Namath to hockey player Sergei Federov.
Franklin first made its name with baseball equipment, and has been a leader in that field ever since. Franklin Sports is the sole manufacturer of Baseball’s Authentic Collection. The company pursues technologically advanced products and materials, unique performance designs, and superior manufacturing.
