Suncast
Very often a storage shed in the backyard is a necessity. But not everyone has the building skills or the time to make one themselves. Not everyone can afford to hire a contractor to do the job. For those people there is the Suncast Corporation. Suncast Corp. is one of the largest manufacturers of prefabricated storage units, with over 25,000 locations where Suncast sheds are sold. The Suncast Shed Company has over ninety product lines, and recently opened a new 715,000 square foot distribution centre. The Suncast storage sheds can be placed under four basic categories: lawn and garden, outdoor storage, home storage and snow tool storage.
Suncast storage buildings are very easy to assemble. The only tool you will need is a screwdriver. Most parts just snap together. The Suncast plastic sheds are made of a low cost resin material that will not rust, rot or mildew. They do not have to be painted or stained, and the colour will not fade from exposure to sunlight. You can wash a Suncast storage shed with a garden hose and a mild detergent. All Suncast sheds have floors in them. They also have locking double doors. Shelving can be put up inside most of the sheds, but shelving does not come with the sheds. It must be purchased separately.
Suncast storage buildings are neutrally coloured so they look good in any yard. They come in a variety of sizes to suit many purposes. You can get a 4x2 ½ ft. garden shed, horizontal design; or a storage building that is over ten feet long with a skylight and windows.
When you receive your Suncast garden shed, be sure to read the assembly instructions carefully, because once the building has been assembled, it cannot be taken apart without damage. Do not lean heavy objects against the sides of the building, as this can cause irreparable warping. A Suncast storage building should not be used to store flammable or caustic chemicals. Do not put hot items like recently used barbeque grills or blow torches in the shed. In winter, keep the roof as clear of snow as possible to avoid damage by weight. If you damage you garden shed, Suncast will not accept it as a return.
A first rate Suncast storage building will complement your back yard, but before you order one, contact your municipality to see if assembling one will require a building permit. Be sure you have a level spot on which to place your Suncast storage building.
